Organize A Halloween Blast
31st of October, every year, is celebrated as the festival of Halloween. It is one of the unique festivals that are being celebrated almost every part of the world during which streets are crowded with people wearing their Halloween costumes and children are seen running about wearing spooky and scary costumes. Shops are decorated with weird and crazy looking insects, spider webs and other spine chilling stuff. People are often seen, nowadays, wearing Halloween sexy costumes which is gaining more and more popularity.
Preparing for a Halloween party can really be a pain. However if you have enough time and someone to guide as to how to go about it, everything is smooth then. There are a number of Halloween party organized every year, each different in its own way. You might also want your party to be the most happening and the memories of which would be cherished by every guest who attended the party.
You can start by choosing the venue of the Halloween costume party, making sure that it is spacious enough to hold the event, and can be easily located by the guests. A big, old house with lots of trees would surely create an ambience of fear and excitement at the same time for your partygoers! Have some decorations from the gate of the house up to the door, and you could make the doorbell create an eerie sound that will give goose bumps to everyone. A butler in a scary looking adult costume that will lead the guests to the main hall will be a great addition to the theme.
The invitation card with some theme with it can really excite the guests. A card black in color can be decorated with silver or orange letterings and with pictures of ghosts, skeletons or pumpkins. Write a word of caution that following the Halloween theme is mandatory and who so ever will violate the rule will be punished in a ghostly manner! Filthy looking cake or juice, yet edible, can be prepared for the punishment stuff. This is surely going to amuse the guests and some might even want to try it as a dare!
The real food to be consumed, and not the one for the punishment, should be really tempting, still having a Halloween touch. Add some dry ice into a pot and asked a “witch” to keep on stirring, at least for some time. Choose the food type which won’t create much confusion and jumble as no one will be interested in spoiling both their costume and the moment of enjoyment.
For the entertainment part of the evening, you could start up a dance contest using the favorite background music of all Halloween costume parties, “Thriller” by Michael Jackson. The guests in their adult costumes who dance the best and still spooky at the same time should receive a special prize for the night. Fun games and activities should also be ready for the guests to participate in. Some of the games could include pumpkin carving, (make sure to keep the knife away from children), scavenger hunts, hide and seek, and many more! After dinner, someone could start a bonfire (if outdoors) and start sharing classic Halloween stories that will definitely entertain and fright them.
A Halloween costume party won’t be fun and thrilling without the prizes for the guests coming in their most unique and creepy looking adult costumes and Halloween sexy costumes! It is one of the most anticipated parts of the evening, as the guests are undoubtedly wishing they’re efforts in preparing for the adult costumes and party itself would pay off. As much as possible, arrange for the prize that’s special and would be worth all their efforts, something they could brag about to their friends, and most specially, something that would make them want to come back next year!
