Vampire Contact Lenses To Scare Your Own Mother

One of the best special effects contact lenses on the market are vampire contact lenses. They are particularly popular at Halloween of course, but they can be equally effective for theatrical purposes. If you are in your local play or involved with any thespian activity, vampire contact lenses can be a very effective addition to your makeup toolbox. If you feel a bit mischievous of course, you can always pop them in when you have visitors knock on your door. Special effects contact lenses have been known to have a remarkable effect on the door to door salesmen population.

Costume lenses such as vampire contact lenses are not restricted to be used solely by those with bad eyesight. They are available over the counter without prescription, so they will have not corrective effect on your vision. The other side of the coin of course is that if you have eyesight that requires correction, such as astigmatism, then over the counter lenses such as these will not benefit your eyesight at all. Their sole benefit to you will be cosmetic.

Vampire contact lenses are different from many of the other coloured contact lenses that you get on the market. They are printed, not tinted, so they would be considered custom contact lenses. Regardless of the natural colour of your eyes, vampire contact lenses will give you a stunning and surreal look.

Those who wear contact lenses on a daily basis will have no problem inserting vampire contact lenses into their eyes, or removing them, and will be familiar with the daily routines required for contact lens care. If you have never worn contacts before however, you should consult your eye care professional when ordering any cosmetic contact lenses, for no other reason than to ensure that your eyes won’t suffer from their use, and for understanding and applying the daily care needed for your eyes and for your lenses in order to protect your optical health.

It is essential that you maintain good hygiene when wearing any type of contact lens, and cosmetic vampire contact lenses are no different. Eye infections can be very serious, so following approved guidelines for the use and care of contact lenses is very important. It is imperative that you clean the lenses thoroughly before and after inserting them in your eyes, and also clean your hands before and after removal or insertion. I think it goes without saying that you should never share your lenses with anyone else, or share anyone else’s lenses, even if you know them. However, the warning is worth repeating again here.

Finally, beware anyone who has vampire contact lenses (no not you!). You might find yourself talking to a real vampire. If that happens, I suggest that you run like crazy.
