One of two men dubbed by the prosecutor as the “Halloween bank robbers” was sentenced Friday in Sacramento federal court to three years and one month in prison. Chandler Edward Saso also was ordered to pay restitution of $3,038 to the Schools Financial Credit Union in Yuba City. The 29-year-old Saso, of Marysville, and Andrew E. Wilson, 20, of Sacramento, entered the bank in mid-afternoon Sept. She said the duo, both on state parole, threatened credit union employees, and Saso demanded $15,000 from a teller while Wilson watched the lobby and doors. Wilson was sentenced two weeks ago to 2 1/2 years in prison and also ordered to pay restitution to the credit union. More Halloween News
