Suspect named in Halloween slaying - Denver Post- Topic: Halloween News
The Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division has identified 21-year-old Jesse Anthony Torres as the suspect in the Halloween drive-by shooting that took the life of a teenage boy. Aranda, who was riding on the back of a bicycle with another teenage boy, was hit by a bullet from, what witnesses said, was a black truck that raced down the street and sped from the shooting. The Adams County Sheriff’s office found Aranda with a gunshot wound, and he later died after arriving at an area hospital. Aranda’s name was not released by officials at the time but his name was released by his family. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding Torres.
