Halloween Teacher’s Costumes
A lot of people will surely wear Halloween costumes this year. For some schools students often times failed to realize that their teachers need to wear costumes too. Teachers and professors from all levels, be it grade school, junior high or college, will be dressing up as well. Though, most teachers don’t feel like doing so, probably because they don’t want to look goofy in front of their students. But most of the time, they don’t have a choice but to wear Halloween costumes depending on their tastes.
If you’re an elementary school teacher, you can dress up in a theme kids can relate. What about a banana or an apple? Yes, some of these costumes you may only see on TV, but they do exist. Teacher’s costumes are very big hits, especially for the young ones. For example, some other costume hits include: pencils or crayons or even as a ruler. It probably works best for kids up through the grade of 2 or 3.
Older students will think you’re cool if you dress up for Halloween, they will appreciate you even more. For older students, movie theme costumes for teachers will definitely be a hit. Movie theme costumes like GI Joe, Transformers, Twilight, Xmen, Watchmen, and a whole lot more are great teachers Halloween costumes.
At the college level, what could be a hit are those celebrity Halloween costumes. Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley costumes are just some of the best teachers Halloween costume. Just pick the most recognizable celebrities, dress like them and even copy their actions and they way they talk, you’ll definitely be a hit. You see, teacher’s costumes for Halloween can be anything that pops out your mind.
Of course, not all teachers feel comfortable dressing up on Halloween, just like many people in general don’t. But, it’s useful to keep the perspective in mind. That Halloween is a fun time to perhaps break down the barriers between students and teachers. It could be a way for teachers to show the students that they’re just regular people who also know how to have fun!
A big hit, especially at the college level could be the nostalgia look. Perhaps take a fairly recent celebrity like Michael Jackson. His look was so recognizable that everyone would get a kick out of that costume. Then, of course, the old standbys of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe would elicit giggles and perhaps even a social dialogue.
The most important reason for a Teacher’s Costume on Halloween is just laugh and enjoy a day that is ingrained in our society. No one expects anything, but a feeling of laughing at yourself and letting your guard down.
